Chicory is a perennial pasture, which can be grown continuously for about 8 to 10 years once planted. The utilization period of this pasture is from April to November. During the non-utilization period, multiflora ryegrass can be planted. The utilization period of multiflora ryegrass is from December to April next year. It is eradicated in mid-April to allow chicory grass to grow alone.
2. All annual pastures are used for rotation planting
It can be planted in late April Or hybrid Pennisetum. In mid-September, the grass roots of Bitterness or Hybrid Pennisetum will be pulled up, cleaned up and planted with multiflora ryegrass or winter grazing 70 ryegrass. In late April next year, multiflora ryegrass will be planted. Or the roots of Dongmu 70 ryegrass can be pulled out and cleaned up, and then replanted with bitter gourd or hybrid pennisetum, and so on repeatedly.
3. Rotate annual grass and crops
Can be replaced with carrots Multifloral ryegrass in the first mode. Alternatively, sweet potatoes can be planted instead of the bitter gourd in the second mode. However, the cultivation time of sweet potato should be in early June, and the clearing period of sweet potato should be in late October.
