How to breed anchovies

When raising anchovies, you can feed red nematodes, water fleas, dry feed, and keep the water temperature above 18 degrees. The anchovies that have just been received should not be put into the water immediately. It is necessary to raise the water first and establish a nitrification system. There is a formula for feeding anchovies: try to support within 4 weeks of age, feed hard within 2 months of age, feed until full within 4 months of age, and feed less after 5 months of age.

How to raise anchovies

Anchovies do not have high requirements for food, red nematodes, water fleas and dry feed can be used for feeding . They belong to tropical fish, and their requirements for water quality and temperature are not too high. They can survive in water temperatures above 18 degrees and have strong adaptability.

Anchovies are small in size and mild in temperament, so they are not suitable for mixing with other species of fish. If more anchovies are raised together, it is necessary to ensure that the volume of the fish tank is large enough, and the stocking density is too large to easily cause the fish to get sick. Generally, a 40*25*30cm tank can hold 50-60 fish.

When you just received the fish, you need to raise the water first, let the tap water stand for three or five days, then add nitrifying bacteria, and then put some dead fish and shrimp to cultivate and digest Bacteria, and continuous oxygenation for 24 hours, the fish can only be released after the initial establishment of the nitrification system.

Open bait is best to feed live bait, such as brine shrimp, red nematodes, etc. Dry feed is not easy to digest, so it is best not to feed it. In terms of feeding cycle, try to support within 4 weeks of age, vigorously feed within 2 months of age, feed until full within 4 months of age, and feed less after 5 months of age.
