However, if parrot fish are kept in a low temperature environment for a long time, their bodies will fade or have dark spots.

3. Black spot disease: There is another possibility that the parrot fish has black spot disease, which is usually caused by bacterial infection after the parrot fish and its partner bite each other and get injured. Diseased parrot fish will also be accompanied by loss of appetite and tail clipping.

How to treat black spot in parrot fish?

If it is caused by poor water quality, the owner should immediately change the water quality in the fish tank and disinfect the fish tank to avoid bacterial residues; If there are residual bait or fish poo, etc., it should be cleaned up in time. Note: The water in the fish tank should be replaced every five days at most.

If the water temperature causes the parrot fish to grow black spots, it is much easier to deal with.
