1 , Isolation breeding: For sick turtles with abdominal skin disease, be sure to isolate them in time, because most turtle skin rot disease is caused by bacterial infection and is contagious. Timely isolation can prevent sick turtles from spreading the disease to other healthy turtles. In addition, when the turtle is sick, the sick turtle is easily bullied by other turtles, so isolated breeding can also effectively avoid this situation and prevent the sick turtle from having a greater impact.  

2. Dry feeding of sick turtles: poor water quality is often the cause of turtle skin rot. Continuing to let turtles stay in the original waters will only aggravate its disease, and sick turtles will suffer for a long time. Contact with water is not good for the treatment of its rot skin disease, so it is best to dry the diseased turtle, and then soak the diseased turtle in water 2 to 3 times a day to prevent the diseased turtle from dehydration.  

3. Treatment with herbal medicine: Anti-inflammatory treatment is mainly required for tortoise skin rot. For the affected area of the sick turtle, chlortetracycline ointment can be applied to reduce inflammation, once a day. In addition to applying anti-inflammatory drugs, you can also add a small amount of oxytetracycline powder to your diet for better treatment. If the turtle skin rot is more serious, it is necessary to soak the diseased turtle in oxytetracycline solution for treatment.
