2. Symptoms of stomatitis in rabbits
The symptoms of stomatitis in rabbits generally have an incubation period of one week. Rabbits infected with this disease are often manifested as lethargy and loss of appetite; in the early stage of the disease, the oral mucosa of the sick rabbits is red, swollen and congested; blisters or pustules of different sizes appear on the lips, tongue and oral mucosa, and ulcers will form when these blisters and pustules rupture. , causing a lot of salivation in the sick rabbits (that is, the reason why rabbit stomatitis is also called salivation disease); the mouth and saliva of the sick rabbits are unpleasant, accompanied by oral pain, loss of appetite, weight loss and dehydration symptoms. Third, treatment of rabbit stomatitis
1. Rinse the mouth of sick rabbits with 2% boric acid water. Then sprinkle it in its mouth with Astragalus powder and repeat 1-2 times a day for 3-4 days.
2. Sulfamethazine was administered to the sick rabbits, and the dosage was 0.2 g drug/kg body weight, once a day for 3 consecutive days.
4.
