Seborrheic dermatitis in dogs occurs on the back, head, and extremities. According to different symptoms, it can be divided into three types: dry, oily and dermatitis.
Dermatitis dry: dry skin with gray or silver scales scattered on the hair. Depilation is light, showing thinning hair.
Oily dermatitis. The sebaceous glands are well developed, the skin and hair at the root of the tail contain a lot of oil or there are yellow-brown masses attached, and there is a lot of earwax in the external auditory canal, and some otitis externa occurs. A peculiar stench of corruption can be smelled.
Types of dermatitis. The affected dog developed itching, erythema, scaling and severe hair loss, with obvious crusted skin, and the affected areas were more common on the back, auricle, forehead and back of the tail, under the chest, elbows and hocks. The dog may bite the affected area because of the itch, making the affected area enlarge and make the condition worse.

Medications :
1. Prednisolone, 1~2mg/kg, orally, 2 times a day, until the symptoms are relieved after treatment (the specific plan needs to ask the veterinarian)
2. Increase nutrition, feed more high-protein and high-fat substances, and inject vitamin A and vitamin D
Food management:
It should be corrected from the dog’s diet and daily management. Light, avoid greasy, pay attention to bathing frequently, blow dry after bathing, and keep hair dry, which can usually kill skin diseases in the cradle.
