Allergies to Cat and Dog Diseases

Allergy refers to a series of reactions that occur when the immune body encounters the stimulation of the same antigen again

In medicine, antigenic substances that induce allergic diseases are often called allergens. Since there are thousands of species,

every cat and dog is an individual, and Much of it is hereditary.

Sneezing, prolonged diarrhea, itchy skin, hair loss, and excessive biting are all symptoms of allergic reactions. Severe allergic reactions can even lead to death.

Then introduce several common allergens:

1. Allergies caused by breathing (inhalation allergens)

such as pollen, catkins, dust, insect mites, paint, various spices, second-hand smoke, etc.

2. Allergies through diet (ingestion allergens)

Such as seafood, dairy products, soy products, chicken and duck, beef and mutton, flour, sesame oil,

Toona sinensis and peaches, pears, various fruits, dried fruits, vegetables, candied fruit, allogeneic protein, alcohol, etc.

3. Allergies caused by contact or bite (contact allergens)

such as hair dye , paint, shampoo

, chemical fiber products, plastics, collars, bacteria,

mold, viruses, parasites, etc. The most common is skin allergies caused by flea bites.

4. Allergy to injection drugs (drug allergy)

such as penicillin Or other drugs, vaccines, blood, etc.


5. Allergy to self-produced antigens

Great mood swings , microbial infection, claw wounds, burns, etc.

The main way to treat allergies in dogs and cats is to get rid of allergens.

If a pet is found to have an allergic reaction, it is recommended to immediately send it to a regular pet hospital for treatment. For severe and complicated cases, it is recommended to do an allergen investigation.
