1. Fractures: If a dog accidentally falls from a height or is hit by a car, it is likely to have a fracture. The most obvious manifestation of a dog’s fracture is that the foot does not dare to touch the ground, or the bending direction is abnormal. If the above phenomenon is found in the dog, the owner must pay attention. If the dog is determined to have a broken bone, wrap the broken area with cotton, tie it with a bandage, and secure it with two appropriately sized planks on either side of the broken area. Then send the dog to the pet hospital in time for treatment, and try not to let the dog move on the way to the hospital.
2. Cuts: If the dog is slightly cut, you can clean the wound and then apply iodine for disinfection. If the wound is relatively large and the blood flow does not stop, you should press the wound with cotton for about 1 minute to stop the bleeding, and then send the dog to the hospital for further treatment as soon as possible.
3. Scalding: If the dog is accidentally scalded, the wound should be washed with water immediately, and the rinsing will continue for 10 minute. Then wrap the ice cube with a towel and apply it to the affected area, but be careful not to apply it for too long, and remove the ice cube immediately when the burned area becomes cold. 4. Bite: If the dog is accidentally bitten by another dog, the wound should be cleaned as soon as possible, and the wound should be cleaned with 20% soapy water in time, and then smeared with 75% ethanol for disinfection. If the injury of the dog is serious, or the dog has not been vaccinated against rabies before, the dog should be sent to the veterinary hospital for examination and treatment in time.
5. Esophageal infarction: If the dog is accidentally blocked by something in the throat during eating, you can pat the dog on the back to help it spit out what is stuck in the throat. If it doesn’t work, it is recommended to send it to the hospital as soon as possible.
6. Heatstroke: The dog’s skin has poor heat dissipation capacity. Measures that can easily lead to heat stroke in dogs. Dogs with heatstroke usually show rapid wheezing, restlessness, drooling, elevated body temperature, and in severe cases, shock and coma. If you find signs of heat stroke in your dog, you should move the dog to a cool and ventilated place as soon as possible, feed the dog a small amount of water, put a wet towel on the dog’s body or shower with cold water, and wipe alcohol on the dog’s foot pads

7. Treatment measures after a person is bitten by a dog: If the owner or other person is bitten by a dog, the wound should be washed repeatedly with 20% soapy water in time. Scrub the wound with 70% alcohol. Take the dog to the pet hospital for rabies vaccine or anti-rabies immune serum within 24 hours of being bitten.
