In the hot summer, dogs sweat a lot. Presumably in winter, bathing is more frequent. Pet parents, when bathing their dogs, they should not neglect the dog’s facial cleaning. Here is a brief introduction to dog facial care: how to clean the nose, ears and eyes.
1. Nose
The color of the nose should be black and slightly wet, If not, you may have a fever, a cold and a runny nose. If you have a pus-like discharge from your nose, you may have severe pneumonia or an infectious disease! Consult your doctor as soon as possible.
2. Eyes
Excessive secretions near the eyes are mostly due to the stimulation of hair, foreign objects, dust, etc., or blockage of the tear ducts or falling eyelashes Plug in, pay more attention. In particular, some dog breeds are born with too large or too small eyes, which are prone to eye diseases. If there is a lot of secretions, it can be washed with normal saline. If you cannot control it, seek medical attention immediately.
3. Ears
The ears should be cleaned frequently (every two to three days) (earwax digging) and checked for inflammation or black, greasy secretions. These symptoms can be warning signs of chronic ear disease.
Health and cleanliness are inseparable, both for the dog itself and for the parents, so keeping clean is very important!
