It also hardens and is accompanied by yellow-green or yellow round lesions.

Second, the control method of parrot trichomoniasis
1. Prevention:
Clean bird cages and other feeding utensils regularly, keep the feeding environment hygienic, and clean and disinfect the food and water boxes of parrots frequently. Before the adult parrots are paired for breeding, the parrots can be prevented with medication in advance to prevent the adult parrots from being infected with Trichomonas and infecting the chicks during the feeding of the chicks. Note that once a parrot is found to be infected with Trichomonas, the sick bird should be isolated immediately to avoid expanding the infection. During the period of alternating spring and autumn, sharp cooling and humid weather, it is necessary to focus on preventive measures for parrots. The breeder can usually feed the parrot with the two-in-one medicine of Trichomonas kai pigeon for prevention. The dosage of this medicine is: take 5g of the medicine and add 1000ml of water or 1kg of the mixture.
2. Treatment method:
Use 10mg~40mg metronidazole for treatment every day (the specific dosage should be determined according to the size of the parrot, it is recommended to be under the guidance of a professional veterinarian Medicine), divided into 2 to 3 times a day to feed, continuous medication for a few days, the sick bird can be cured. During the treatment period, it can also be taken with vitamin C to the sick parrot; or it can also be treated with the two-in-one drug of Trichomonas cabbies.
