2. Treatment method: Knowing that the arowana has red spot disease, you need to isolate it first, then change it with clean water, add 2ppm of chlorine dioxide to the water, and carry out the treatment. Medicated bath treatment, medicated bath once a day for 20 minutes each time, insist on using medicated bath for one week. During each feeding of arowana, an appropriate amount of tetracycline can be added to his feed and fed twice a day, and the sick fish can be cured after four consecutive weeks.
2. Fish rot disease
1. Reason: Fish rot disease is generally caused by bacterial infection or parasitic infection. Infection is difficult to diagnose. However, the main cause of the disease is due to poor water quality. The main symptoms of rotten gill disease are: mental sluggishness, stop eating, darkening of body color, and congestion of both gills. In the later stage of the disease, a large number of cysts will appear in the gills of the diseased fish, which will block the breathing of the diseased fish and eventually lead to the death of oxygen deficiency.
2. Treatment: Fish rot disease is contagious. Once a fish is found to be sick, it needs to be isolated as soon as possible. In the early stage of rotten gill disease, 2% salt water can be used to smear or rinse the diseased fish, or medicated bath can be used to treat it; in the middle stage of the disease, sulfuric acid needs to be added in a ratio of 1:0.01 Copper medicated bath treatment, medicated bath once every two days, each medicated bath for 10 to 20 minutes.
